From Heart Surgery to Cancer to Adoption

Heather has not only fought through several open heart surgeries AND breast cancer, but she's also become a mom to five children through international adoption. Heather and her husband most recently adopted in 2015, bringing home two older children…a brother and sister from Ukraine, who were 15 and 11 years old respectively at the time. While the decision process was not necessarily easy or comfortable, God revealed and confirmed His plan for their family in incredible ways. Heather has learned that when something stays on your mind, you should take time to see what God is saying about it!
